Fidaa Al-Hamoud, Chair of the General Electoral District Committee, announced the preliminary results for the 25 party lists in the 20th Parliamentary elections, which included 697 candidates.

The Islamic Action Front secured 17 seats in the next Parliament, while Al-Mithaq, the National Islamic Party, and Irada each won 3 seats. The National Union, Taqaddom, Ard Al-Mubarakah, Labor Party, Namaa, Al-Amal, and Azm each earned 2 seats.

These parties collectively won 38 of the 41 national seats. The Independent Election Commission will soon announce the parties that secured the 3 reserved quota seats, including 2 for Christians and 1 for Circassians/Chechens.

The voter turnout for the general lists was 1,638,356, representing 32.25% of the total electorate.
